Simon has been gigging and touring in many countries in Europe as well as in Asia and the United States with his bands, as a solo artist, and as part of different projects. Amongst the most memorable gigs are a tour of China and the US as part of a delegation representing the University of Limerick, concerts at piping festivals from Ireland to Hungary, and the 25th anniversary concert of the UL Concert Hall, where he played together with Paddy Moloney, Blackie O’Connell, and the RTE Concert Orchestra.
On a regular basis Simon can be heard with the Ireland-based quartet 3 on the Bund and the Germany-based band Cara whom he joined in 2021. Also, he is part of the Austrian drone-music Ensemble Unisonus, the German Irish and Scottish trad band Breaking Stings. Are you looking for an uilleann piper for your wedding, birthday, etc.?
